Excavator Operator

Skilled Track Hoe (Excavator) Operator needed for a 3 month landfill construction project.

Excavator Operator Details:

• Temporary position
• $25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm )

• Operate an excavator to dig, load and move soil, cover material and debris
• Load off road haul trucks
• Cut ditches, drainage features and slopes to spec
• Work alongside dozer operators and haul trucks to keep material moving
• Do daily inspections and basic upkeep, and report equipment issues

Excavator Operator Qualifications:

• 2+ years of excavator experience on construction, site work or landfill projects
• Experience loading trucks and working in a high traffic earthmoving operation
• Ability to follow grade and plan direction from a foreman
• Solid safety record
• Ability to work outdoors in Gulf Coast heat and weather

• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
